Software Development Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Software Development Quality Assurance Specialist. This key position involves ensuring our software applications meet high standards of quality and usability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare test design templates and plans, and perform hands-on testing with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines
- Document test cases and track issues in a designated system
- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other functional groups to understand project requirements and determine testing scope
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-4 years of experience working with software applications
- Familiarity with HTML, ARIA, REST API, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior
- Understanding of white box testing, black box testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and regression testing
- Experience working with issue tracking tools like Jira, Sentry, Redmine, Bugzilla
- Able to quickly identify the root cause of open support tickets
- Strong debugging skills and ability to explain complex issues as an expert
- Ability to effectively communicate problems to development teams for resolution
