Key Objectives:
  • Develop and refine data-driven solutions in Qlik Sense, aligning with organizational requirements.
  • Establish efficient data models in Qlik Sense using QVDs (QlikView Data) and QVW (QlikView Files), ensuring effective data structuring for reporting purposes.
  • Implement advanced scripting in Qlik Sense to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and more.
  • Design engaging visualizations, charts, and KPIs to display data effectively, ensuring user-friendly and insightful dashboards.
  • Optimize the performance of Qlik Sense applications and reports for improved data load times and visualization rendering.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend reporting needs and design tailored Qlik Sense solutions.
  • Maintain data integrity, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security across reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze data and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues related to Qlik Sense applications.
  • Implement robust Qlik Sense security protocols, ensuring proper user access controls and security measures are followed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, including training on dashboard usage and report generation.
  • Document code, data models, and project workflows for future maintenance and enhancements.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence development, with a strong focus on Qlik Sense.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense (both front-end and back-end development).
  • Proficiency in Qlik Sense scripting for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Experience with data modeling in Qlik Sense, including designing data structures and creating QVDs.
  • Expertise in creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and KPIs using Qlik Sense's features.
  • Solid understanding of SQL for querying databases and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and data connectors in Qlik Sense.
  • Experience in Qlik Sense extensions and developing custom widgets or themes.
  • Knowledge of Qlik Sense security models for controlling user access and data protection.
  • Experience with version control systems and working in an agile development environment.
