VMware InfraOps Engineer

This is a critical role in designing, implementing, and operating VMware Aria Suite of products.

We are looking for someone with expertise in system automation scripting using Python or PowerShell, Linux system administration and development, and cloud networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions using VMware Aria Suite of products, vCenter, NSX, ESXi, Cloud Director, and other technologies.
  • Develop and maintain system automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
  • Work with Linux system administration and development to ensure seamless operation of our Enterprise Cloud environments.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with Ansible, VMware API integration development, Cloud networking, IBM Cloud API integration development, Windows Active Directory administration, Windows SQL server administration, Jenkins build and platforms, Web UI development, GitHub issue and code management, and security engineering principles.
  • 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Telegraf, VeeamOne, and system automation scripting.
  • Strong understanding of deployment practices from Development to Test to Staging to Production.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
