About the Role

Okta is The World's Identity Company, and we're looking for a Senior Manager, Learning Experience Design and Technology to join our team. As a key member of our Learning Experience Design and Technology team, you will lead a team responsible for designing innovative solutions using modern learning technologies and practices to deliver world-class learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of learning design and technology professionals to design and deliver innovative learning experiences.
  • Make informed plans aligned to the strategy, portfolio, and practices to drive business outcomes.
  • Analyze learning experience data in partnership with the People Analytics team to inform OktaU learning strategy.
  • Lead and oversee the analysis, design, development, implementation, and continuous evaluation of technologies, structures, and processes that support the core learning and development solutions.
  • Ensure strategic plans are outcome-driven and that there are clear execution plans and team accountabilities to deliver on those plans.
  • Gather data and feedback to generate insights to improve the learner experience.
  • Be a thought leader about the application of innovative learning technologies and practices.
  • Be a strong program manager with a focus on teamwork, execution, and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of learning and development experience, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to lead a matrixed team and influence across the organization.
  • Emotionally intelligent and able to thrive in an ambiguous, constantly changing, and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of innovative learning and development tools and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills to collaborate with internal team members and executives.
