Job Title: Storage Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
  • Implement disk shelf additions to existing storage for standalone and high availability controllers.
  • Configure and manage disaster recovery replication via snapmirror.
  • Manage virtual fileers, fiber interconnect switches, and storage monitoring tools.
  • Provide operational support for the file serving / NAS infrastructure within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp and Hitachi systems.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE, CDOT & fabric switches.
  • Significant experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc).
  • Excellent knowledge of CIFS and NFS technologies.
  • Experience using an operational ticketing system (e.g. Service Now).
  • Understanding of enterprise process mapping tools and industry best practice frameworks (ITIL, Agile etc).

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in storage administration, with a strong focus on NetApp and similar technologies.
