Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Development: Create high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials, including MSL/training slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content according to client and audience needs with excellent attention to detail.
  • Mentorship and Training: Review and supervise deliverables from junior writers and provide constructive feedback. Mentor and train junior writers by sharing best practices and client preferences.
  • Client Relationship Building: Maintain excellent product/account knowledge for client interactions. Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Advise clients on strategic plans and content improvements. Participate in client pitches and business development.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and clients. Develop and execute digital medical communications initiatives in the digital space, including publication extenders, creation of infographics, interactive assets, website content, patient narratives, and medical information engagement plans.

Requirements:
  • Education: PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing Scientific/Medical Communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Clear, concise scientific writing with strong attention to detail and language skills. Strong ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely.
  • Digital Content Creation: Skilled in developing digital content to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent communicator adept at simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills within cross-functional and matrix teams.
