Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the management of painting services, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency in service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and experience in driving business growth.

The primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for painting projects, monitoring project timelines, pricing, and quality standards, as well as overseeing paint contractors and painters to ensure the process is relevant and adopted by them.

A key aspect of this role is identifying opportunities for business expansion and growth within the home painting services market, driving revenue growth through marketing and sales strategies, and collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the value of the services.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to implement a quality control process to monitor the quality of painting services provided, including inspections and reviews of ongoing projects, resolve any customer complaints or issues swiftly and professionally, organize training sessions for Managers and Associates to ensure they are well-versed in Internal Practices & SOPs, current industry best practices, new products, and safety standards, evaluate the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback to improve service quality, oversee budgeting and cost control for the department, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality service, and monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest painting trends, techniques, and eco-friendly solutions, as well as experience in project management and client-facing roles. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, be able to manage and motivate a diverse team, and have a strong problem-solving ability with a customer-centric approach.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving painting service business and operations
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing SOPs for service-based businesses
  • Strong business acumen with experience driving sales, revenue, and profitability
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach
