Cloud Architect Role

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design and deploy cloud-based systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, ELB, CloudFront, and Auto Scaling.
  • Implement serverless architecture design using Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with ECS or EKS (Kubernetes).
  • Develop and manage cloud resources using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Automate deployments and configuration management using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Write scripts and automate tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in AWS services and tools.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of scripting and programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Networking skills including VPC design, subnets, NAT Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, and Load Balancing.
  • Security skills including IAM policies, roles, KMS, Secrets Manager, Config, GuardDuty, encryption, access controls, and least privilege policies.
