Automation QA Engineer Role Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong skills in Playwright to join our Quality Assurance team.

The successful candidate will build and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web applications.

The role involves CI/CD integration, performance testing, API validation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Playwright-based automated tests
  • Execute cross-browser tests and troubleshoot failures
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub)
  • Conduct performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner
  • Perform API testing using Postman or REST tools
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams
  • Report test results and quality insights

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with Playwright expertise
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and API/performance testing
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Agile environment experience (Scrum/Kanban)
