Senior Game Programmer Job Description

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, gameplay mechanics, and technical specifications.
  • Develop complex gameplay systems, mechanics, and features using Unreal Engine, ensuring they align with the project's vision and objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to solve complex technical challenges, optimize performance, and improve the overall quality of the game.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Unreal Engine and game development best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity.

As a senior game programmer, you will play a key role in defining the technical vision and collaborating closely with designers and artists to bring the game to life. You will lead the programming team, ensure high-quality code, and contribute to the overall direction of the project.
