Key Responsibilities

As a software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality applications using Golang.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Golang.
  • Implement API services and microservices architecture to ensure seamless integration with front-end elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify project requirements.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and performance by conducting thorough code reviews and implementing best practices.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation to ensure clear understanding of application functionality.
  • Ensure application reliability, security, and performance by integrating with third-party APIs and external services.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups and sprint reviews to ensure team alignment and progress.
  • Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and ensure application stability.
  • Assist in software architecture design and implementation to ensure scalability and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Golang development.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean code practices.
  • Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Proficient in using Docker for containerization.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
