Key Role: Information Technology Support Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled IT support specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to our global employees across various sites, ensuring timely operational and technical assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of personal computers by troubleshooting domestic computer hardware and software issues.
  • Provide prompt and effective resolution of all problems and service requests, documenting each case for future reference.
  • Develop accurate installation and configuration procedures for both standard and non-standard software packages.
  • Manage the deployment and rollout of software and hardware assets.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of company assets.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support users.
  • Collaborate with our Cybersecurity team to ensure network assets are secure.
  • Update the problem management database with timely and meaningful information.
  • Gather and log relevant information about each issue, utilizing tools and collective knowledge to resolve it.
  • Utilize the knowledge base to assist in troubleshooting efforts and share experiences with team members.
  • Assist in the deployment of desktop PCs and peripherals.
  • On-board new employees with comprehensive orientation to company assets.
  • Respond to all voice mail and email daily.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all supported desktop applications and OS software.
  • Perform various duties assigned by the Client Solutions Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Desktop and/or Helpdesk support.
  • Prior experience with current standard desktop software (Microsoft Office, Windows).
  • Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience working with international clients in USA and Europe.
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills; SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Desktop or Help Desk support experience is an asset.
