Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect
Citrix technologies are at the forefront of innovation, and we're looking for a seasoned professional to design and implement end-to-end virtual desktop solutions. As a Virtual Desktop Solutions Architect, you'll be responsible for analyzing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable and secure architectures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Citrix technologies, including MCS Provisioning, cloud infrastructure, and Azure virtual desktop services. They'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and ongoing management of virtual desktop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud, with Azure virtual desktop services.
• Configure and manage network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure, including network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Implement security measures, including data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements, to protect virtual desktop environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure and identify and troubleshoot performance issues, system errors, and network connectivity problems.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
• Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Cloud.
• Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
