The Welder Specialist is responsible for welding components, assemblies and complete running gear frames in accordance with the drawing, production plan and welding specifications.

1) The Welder Specialist shall be aware of MIG/TIG with minimum 3 to 4 years of experience preferably in Heavy Industries, with ITI and NCVT.

2) Should have knowledge of all types of welding positions.

3) Should have knowledge and awareness how to read RT joint film and to rectify the joint in case of any discontinuity.

4) Should have knowledge and awareness how to rectify the welding defects.

5) Should have knowledge and awareness of weld defects and their remedial measures.

6) Should have knowledge and hand on experience in grinding and fitment of welding job/assembly.

7) Should have knowledge and hand on experience of cutting flames, also able to handle oxy cutting cutting and heating sets/trollies with all safety measures.

8) Should have knowledge and awareness of all PPE's to be used in the fabrication shop.

9) Should have knowledge and awareness on time recording (Direct Hrs. and Indirect Hrs.)

10) Should be able to read all Engineering drawings and conversant with all welding symbols.

11) Should have good knowledge and awareness of WPS.

12) Should have knowledge and awareness of 5S to keep workstation safe and clean.

13) Should have good operating knowledge of welding machines MAG/TIG.

14) Knowledge of EN standard (optional)

· You should have minimum experience of 2 years and ITI (Welder Trade) + NCVT passed.

· Welding Experience, Methods & Technologies.

· The Manual skills must not be only limited to the test piece.

· Welding using a hand shield and welding helmet.

· The welder must be able to read the drawings and welding symbols (EN22553).

· The Welder must be able to autonomously set welding parameters based on the thickness of the material, joint geometry, weld position, accessibility, additional materials (solid and flux-core wires).

· An interest of learning, ability to work in team, analytical ability.
