Luxoft is seeking a seasoned Android developer to join our team and contribute to the enablement of the Android Automotive platform for a key customer.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Android Framework and BSP components, with a focus on Linux, Embedded, device drivers, Audio subsystem, RTOS, Audio HAL, Audio Framework, OpenMax, ALSA, and I2S.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Android Framework/HAL/driver development.
  • Strong C/C++ development skills, with a good understanding of object-oriented design.
  • A good understanding of the Android framework and overall Android Architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more Android HAL components, such as Audio, Graphics, Camera, or Power.
  • Desirable experience with the Multimedia framework, including OpenMAX and Codec2.
  • Compliance with CTS/VTS and ability to resolve defects.
  • A strong background in embedded systems development and system knowledge.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with the Android Automotive platform and Android Multimedia framework is desirable.
