Data Management Specialist

Gain.pro's data management group is a key pillar for private equity intelligence, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality and accuracy of research content. We operate globally with offices in multiple locations.

We are seeking a high-caliber individual to join our team as a DMG Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and scaling a best-in-class research team, ensuring the highest quality standards of financial, market, and business research on our platform.

The role involves:

  • Research and knowledge management: Deliver on updates targets for regions, ensuring quality standards.
  • Quality guardianship: Regularly review updates executed by the team, identify quality issues, and address them via trainings.
  • Recruitment: Support hiring of research analysts to meet headcount and content targets.
  • Team management: Train, develop, and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and personal growth.
  • Strategic initiatives: Identify and own improvement opportunities, execute data improvement initiatives.
  • Technology: Drive technical initiatives to automate workflow further.

A high ownership mindset and hands-on attitude are equally important for this role.

You will report to the DMG Team Lead and be responsible for managing a sizeable team of DMG analysts and senior analysts involved in the updates process. Your primary goal will be to scale up the team to 150+ FTE in ~3 years.
