Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco technologies, including routers, switches, and routing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement enterprise network architecture.
  • Maintain personal knowledge of network vendor technologies.
  • Configure and troubleshoot enterprise network equipment.
  • Resolves complex issues involving a wide range of technologies.
  • Assists other teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways and Integrated Services Routers.
  • Works with carriers and configures/troubleshoots Internet, MPLS, and SD-WAN circuits.
  • Mentors junior network engineers.
  • Ensures network meets compliance standards.
  • Provides on-call support for production systems.
  • Oversees diagnosis and troubleshooting activities.
  • Performs system administration functions to support continuous day-to-day system operations.
  • Develops and maintains network documentation.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and Software Defined Networking preferred.
  • Experience with VMware, Docker, and AWS environments preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code (NaC) preferred.
  • Experience with Python and Ansible.

Certifications:

The ideal candidate will hold the following certifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
