The role of a Speech Therapist is crucial in helping individuals develop their communication skills and overcome various disabilities.

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Speech Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with learners with multiple disabilities, providing one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions.

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
• Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
• Provide speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to ensure integrated student development.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adapting therapy plans as needed.
• Assist in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools when appropriate.
• Train staff and caregivers on effective communication strategies and support techniques.
• Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Minimum 3 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Bilingualism in English and Tamil.
• Familiarity with assistive technology and instructional strategies.
• Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
