Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Manager to spearhead our litigation processes against clients and vice versa. This involves handling various cases under Consumer, Criminal, Civil, and Section laws including cheque bounce and arbitration/reconciliation proceedings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Filing and managing cases under different statutes, serving notices, summons, and NBW through police authorities.
  • Drafting and responding to notices, overseeing arbitration and conciliation proceedings for asset repossession in chronic cases.
  • Conducting Lok adalats and executions, handling matters filed under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
  • Initiating arbitration proceedings, sending and replying notices, and preparing and vetting of Say/WS and filing cases.
  • Handling cases under Section 3 of the CRPC and appointing external solicitors from the empanelled list to represent the company in court proceedings.
  • Liaising with advocates on a regular basis to facilitate provision of required information and reviewing ongoing litigations in the zone.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements and suggesting ways to minimize litigations and costs.
  • Performing risk evaluation/assessment of contracts, legal process planning, and organizing legal awareness sessions.
  • Representing the company in all legal matters, including labour and employee issues, and handling all legal issues for the company.
