Lead Backend Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional Backend Engineering Lead to drive the technical direction of our backend systems, lead engineering initiatives, and mentor team members. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure backend solutions.

Job Description:

As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and Developing Backend Systems: Using Java and Spring Boot, you will lead the design and development of efficient, scalable, and secure backend systems that meet our business needs.
  • Architecting and Implementing Microservices: You will design and implement robust microservices and API designs that enable seamless communication between our systems.
  • Mentoring and Guiding Team Members: With your technical expertise, you will guide and mentor engineers in adopting best practices in backend development and system architecture.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will work closely with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives and drive initiatives in CI/CD, performance optimization, and system reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ Years of Experience: In backend development, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science or a related field, such as Software Engineering.
  • Deep Expertise: In API design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strategic Thinking: Capacity to think strategically and make informed decisions.
