Job Title: Financial Services Risk Management Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Transaction Monitoring Specialist. This role is responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and structuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transaction monitoring policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and anomalies in complex transactional data, using various analytical tools and techniques.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering, terrorist financing, and structuring, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective transaction monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement KYC checks, undertake enhanced due diligence, and remediate KYC files.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in conducting KYC checks, undertaking enhanced due diligence, and remediating KYC files.
  • Relevant experience in transaction monitoring compliance/consulting/banking, financial services or transaction monitoring advisory experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as FATF standards, Wolfsberg principles, Prevention of Money Laundering Act,2002, Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act.
