Job Summary
Credit Risk Modelling Analyst will be responsible for managing the model implementation cycle (from design, implementation, monitoring to demise) of Credit risk and IFRS9 models covering the Large corporates, Mid-market and SME portfolios along with Banks / FIs and Sovereign portfolio. This role is part of our wholesale credit risk modelling team, which is a crucial part of our risk management function.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
- Model development, validation, recalibration, and monitoring, as well as maintaining the risk model inventory on the MRM framework for corporate BASEL and IFRS9 models.
- Leading credit scoring modelling exercises while adhering to relevant regulations.
- Implementing and enhancing ECL models based on internal enhancements, BASEL or Saudi Central Bank regulatory stipulations.
- Collaborating closely with BA's and system owners for model development.
- Having a strong understanding of data analytics and enterprise-level data architecture used to consolidate model development and model monitoring information.
- Supporting business reporting and analytics functions in generating bespoke reports from credit approver and rating systems.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with 2-6 years of experience in model development/model validation and model management. Key requirements include:
- Understanding of stress testing/sensitivity testing.
- Experience in risk requirements related to scorecards and IFRS9/CECL/AIRB.
- Strong understanding of credit risk and model development.
- In-depth knowledge of model development and validation, including data extraction and pre-processing, modular model development, user acceptance testing, and model performance assessments.
- Good programming skills in SAS, with transferrable knowledge from R or Python.
- Knowledge of SAS EG and ECL is an added advantage.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
