Job Title: Data Management Strategist

We are seeking a skilled data management professional to support data management activities across multiple business divisions. This role involves assessing and documenting data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements, as well as identifying and mitigating data management risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements
  • Conduct analysis and regular reviews with business and technology teams
  • Identify and mitigate data management risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Compile and track progress on implementation of data management strategies

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in data management, information management, or a related field
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail and ability to document complex data management requirements

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of data protection/privacy regulations and experience with data privacy laws

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in data management or a related field.

They will be responsible for assessing and documenting data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements, conducting regular reviews, and identifying and mitigating data management risks.
