Job Title: Shooting Coach

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shooting Coach to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a structured shooting program that promotes skill, discipline, and excellence in the sport. They will train students across age groups, nurture talent for competitive levels, and ensure safety, technique, and holistic development through the sport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver age-appropriate training sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced shooters.
  • Foster technical, tactical, and mental skills required in shooting sports.
  • Identify and develop talented students for district, state, national, and international competitions.
  • Provide individualized guidance to enhance performance and confidence.
Program Development & Leadership
  • Establish a structured shooting curriculum integrated with the school's sports vision.
  • Promote shooting as a sport of focus, discipline, and concentration.
  • Coordinate with management for event participation and talent promotion.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust the program accordingly.
Safety & Facility Management
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols at all times.
  • Oversee maintenance of the shooting range, equipment, and accessories.
  • Monitor equipment usage, servicing, and inventory.
  • Train students on responsible use and care of equipment.
Assessment & Reporting
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate student performance and progress.
  • Communicate feedback and progress reports with students, parents, and school leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, performance outcomes, and competition results.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Certified Shooting Coach (National Rifle Association of India or equivalent certification mandatory).
  • Additonal certifications in sports psychology or fitness training (desirable).
Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Shooting Coach, with a proven track record of coaching at school, academy, or competitive levels.
  • Experience training students for district/state/national-level competitions.
  • Prior experience in an international or progressive school setting is an advantage.
