As a highly skilled Senior Kubernetes Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. With expertise in Kubernetes operations, Helm chart development, GitOps practices, and cluster-wide service implementations, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-native infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain AKS clusters in production environments
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Helm charts for application deployments
  • Implement and support GitOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Deploy and manage cluster-wide services including Prometheus stack for monitoring, ingress controllers, ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments, and service meshes for microservices communication
  • Perform Kubernetes cluster upgrades and lifecycle management
  • Configure and manage advanced Kubernetes features such as autoscalers, PodDisruptionBudgets, storage classes, and RBAC policies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues with a proactive mindset
  • Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Kubernetes administration and operations
  • Deep expertise in Helm chart development, GitOps practices, and cluster-wide service implementations
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
