Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to design and implement a highly available cloud infrastructure. This involves setting up and configuring virtualization environments, clustering, and ensuring proper configuration for hosting multiple VMs with high availability features.

Key responsibilities include managing Cloud Services and related server infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, handling network and storage issues in VMware infrastructure, and providing technical support and guidance to other staff or team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of VMware Virtualization Environment (i.e ESXi/vSphere) and related software/tools
  • Experience in installing, configuring, managing, and monitoring high-availability solutions like clustering/load balancing of servers, Server Virtualization (VMware)
  • Administration and management of Linux-based Servers
  • Familiarity with IIS/Apache/Tomcat Web Server for successful running and managing various services like WWW, FTP, SMTP on production environment
  • Databases like Mysql/MariaDB/Postgresql/Oracle connectivity for applications running on Web/App servers
