Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer - Cloud Specialist to join our team at GetHyre. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the software delivery process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of our applications.
  • Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and other IT team members to optimize the development lifecycle and ensure smooth operation of our services.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Implement and manage security best practices within the DevOps processes and infrastructure.
  • Respond to and resolve infrastructure incidents and production issues promptly.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
  • Hands-on working experience with Azure is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
