Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in maintaining the stability and scalability of financial systems.

The ideal candidate will design automation tools, implement monitoring systems, enhance incident response protocols, and champion DevOps practices to ensure Finance and Accounting systems operate with consistency and trustworthiness.

The successful candidate will possess strong experience with monitoring/observability tools, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools. They should also be familiar with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective. Strong scripting/programming skills are required for automation and tooling.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is necessary, along with 3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering. The candidate should have proven ability to manage incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.

  • Reliability & Availability: Ensure financial platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Automation & Efficiency: Design and build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Observability & Monitoring: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Incident Response: Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
