Assistant Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily store operations, leading sales teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers with a positive and proactive attitude, understand customer needs, and recommend appropriate products.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to store performance by effectively managing merchandise display and ensuring stock availability.
  • Operational Efficiency: Handle billing and payment processes efficiently through Point of Sale (POS), maintain cleanliness and order on the sales floor, support inventory management, and ensure stock replenishment.
  • Team Leadership: Build strong customer relationships for repeat business, lead sales teams, and foster a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass, Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: Experience in fashion apparel retail is an added advantage.
  • Skill Set: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic understanding of retail operations, confidence in handling customer queries, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
