Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Job

We are a leading provider of innovative, regulated and mobile-focused products to the iGaming and Betting Industry.

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Quality Assurance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Testing Expertise: Design, implement and maintain automated tests for UI and backend using Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Postman and Cucumber frameworks.
  • Automation Framework Developer: Develop, enhance and refactor automation frameworks to ensure scalability, maintainability and reusability.
  • Test Case Writer: Write and maintain test cases that cover functional, regression, integration and performance testing.
  • API Testing Specialist: Write automated API tests using RestAssured and Postman for validating RESTful APIs.
  • Data-Driven Tester: Create data-driven tests and automate API validation against different environments.
  • Robust API Coverage: Ensure robust API coverage including edge cases and negative test scenarios.
  • CI/CD Integration Expert: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Build and Deployment Specialist: Ensure tests are executed as part of the build and deployment processes, reporting results promptly.
  • Agile Team Member: Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, standups, retrospectives) and work in an iterative, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Problem Solver: Exceptional technical problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly analyze complex issues and resolve them independently.
  • Issue Debugger: Ability to debug, isolate and fix issues in both test code and application code.
  • Performance Tester: Experience in performance testing, stress testing and identifying potential bottlenecks.

Additional Skills Required:

  • Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Mobile Test Automation: Knowledge of mobile test automation tools such as Appium.
  • Cloud-Based Testing: Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and services (AWS, Azure etc.).
  • Experience: Required experience of 5 to 8 years.
