About This Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Test Engineer to join our organization in this challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests for mainframe applications using tools such as JCL, COBOL, SQL, and API testing frameworks like Rest Assured or Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber with Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, develop test cases, and implement test automation scripts.
  • Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins to streamline testing workflows and ensure seamless integration with DevOps processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Analyze complex system behaviors, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance testing capabilities and methodologies.
