This role involves designing, implementing and managing cloud infrastructure for a nationwide, high-traffic platform. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a global team of engineers, developers and strategists to architect and maintain scalable, reliable and secure cloud environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and maintaining AWS environments.
  • Automating deployments, scaling and infrastructure monitoring.
  • Managing backups, disaster recovery and multi-cloud redundancy.
  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices across AWS services.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.
  • Collaborating with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and app integrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, Route 53).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in Linux administration, networking and security.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and optimization skills.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
