Senior Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Team Lead

The ideal candidate will oversee the Aerodome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services at airports, ensuring compliance with local and international aviation safety standards. This role involves managing the Crash Fire Tender team, developing ARFF operational procedures, conducting training drills, and coordinating with airport authorities for emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Crash Fire Tender team to ensure round-the-clock readiness for emergency response.
  • Develop, implement, and review ARFF operational procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular training and drills for the CFT team to maintain peak performance and readiness.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, and emergency services for seamless emergency response and mutual aid.
  • Oversee the maintenance and readiness of ARFF vehicles, equipment, and firefighting systems.
  • Prepare and analyze incident reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards related to ARFF services.
  • Participate in airport emergency exercises and provide expert guidance and leadership during simulated emergencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF).
Certifications:
  • Valid ARFF certification from a recognized aviation authority.
  • Valid certification in Fire Safety and Prevention.
Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in the airports industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) services.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
