Drive Innovation as a Technical Lead

Dispatch Network seeks an experienced Tech Lead to spearhead the development of our technology stack for Last Mile 2.0.

We are at a critical juncture in our journey, transitioning from proven MVP stacks to on-ground pilots and national scale. As our Technical Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop core systems from scratch (backend, APIs, orchestration engines, infra)
  • Shape architecture decisions that define our platform
  • Migrate fast from pilot to scale (500 riders → 50,000 riders)
  • Work across the tech stack: backend (Go, Python, Node), infra (AWS, Terraform, Redis, OSRM), and app integrations (React Native, APIs)
  • Influence technical culture, standards, and early team-building

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience building and shipping backend systems (Go and Python strongly preferred)
  • Strong grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and API design
  • Experience with AWS stack: EC2, RDS/Postgres, Redis, networking basics (VPC, NAT, IGW)
  • Comfort with DevOps (Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS)
  • Bonus: Geospatial systems (H3, OSRM, Redis Geo), real-time platforms, or ML inference integration
