Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Data Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliability and efficiency in meeting customer requirements.

  • Lead a team to execute planned and unplanned activities within timelines with effective communication.
  • Resolve complaints within SLA deviation deadlines.
  • Manage incidents, conduct RCAs, and implement recommendations on time with periodic reviews.
  • Oversee asset management, warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  • Implement 5 PPM tracking and completion with OEMs to ensure equipment availability.
  • Manage vendors with RAT and TAT on complaints, ensuring uptime of redundant equipment.
  • Maintain stock records as per BCP requirements.
  • Coordinate with CE teams for customer inquiries and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain compliance at 100%, tracking periodic trackers.
  • Adhere to physical security processes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and updates based on incidents and RCAs.
  • Update inventories regularly with capacity vs accompany vs balance analysis and customer details.
  • Submit reports on time with agreed timelines.
  • Ensure audit and compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in HSE principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.
  • Solid technical background, hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
