Solution Design and Implementation">

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in the design and configuration of transportation management solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze transportation needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Configure system settings, master data, transportation networks, carriers, rates, and relevant business processes.
  • Customize and enhance SAP TM functionalities through appropriate extensions, integration, and enhancements.

Project Management and Delivery

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and constraints.
  • Provide guidance to junior consultants and project team members, sharing best practices and industry insights.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, and manage stakeholder expectations.

System Optimization and Support

  • Perform regular assessments to identify opportunities for optimization, process improvement, and enhanced system performance.
  • Provide ongoing post-implementation support, addressing technical issues, troubleshooting, and resolving defects.
  • Keep up to date with SAP TM advancements and recommend upgrades or updates to maintain effectiveness.

Training and Knowledge Transfer

  • Conduct training sessions to ensure proper utilization of SAP TM functionalities and processes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including guides, flows, and user manuals.

Industry Expertise and Continuous Learning

  • Stay informed about transportation and logistics industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Continuously upgrade your skills and knowledge related to SAP TM and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM) module.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering SAP TM implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP TM configuration, including planning, order management, carrier selection, and optimization.
  • Experience with SAP TM integration with other modules and third-party systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
  • Project management skills, including leading project teams and managing timelines and budgets.
  • SAP TM certification is a plus.

Good to Have Skills

  • Exposure in S4/Hana Sales.
