About the Role

As an Ophthalmic Theatre Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of ophthalmic surgical procedures. This position requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of operating theatre procedures to ensure compliance with established protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to strict standards of sterilization, fumigation, and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) protocols to guarantee a safe working environment.
  • Clean and inspect instruments, equipment, and facilities to maintain a pristine environment conducive to successful surgeries.
  • Provide expert technical assistance during complex ophthalmic surgical procedures, collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an operating theatre setting, with a preference for candidates with prior ophthalmic experience.
