Job Overview:

The Principal Programmer role is a critical position within our organization, providing programming support to the statistics and programming department across various projects, clients, and therapeutic areas.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficient in R and SQL programming
  • Expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron, COTA
  • Good understanding of Oncology-specific analyses such as Line of Therapy algorithms, Survival analysis, different statistical models

General Requirements:

  • Lead internal and client study team meetings effectively
  • Present study updates internally and at client meetings
  • Share scientific, technical, and practical knowledge within the team and with colleagues

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other subject with high statistical content
  • Minimum 7-8 years SAS statistical programming experience
  • Database programming using SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or other subject with high statistical content
  • Training or experience using the OMOP common data model
