Overview

The Managed Network & Security Team at Getronics is responsible for managing the network and security devices in our data centers, connectivity towards customers and cloud providers, and on-premises network & security implementations.

We are looking for an experienced professional to proactively and reactively manage the Network and Security devices, act on alarms from our network management systems, and address incidents reported by our customers. Troubleshoot & analyze incidents and changes, make suggestions to fix and implement the solution. Test and deploy software upgrades or security patches.

Main Responsibilities

">
  • Manage the design, implementation, and ongoing management of mainly Cisco environment, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments.
  • Coordinate with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platform integration and performance.
  • Recommend new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.
  • Lead and participate in the installation of Network systems and equipment for new facilities and expansions.
  • Test, debug, and analyse performance, and document infrastructure components.
  • Develop network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software.
  • Monitor and analyse network and provide results on a regular basis.
  • Troubleshoot during production outages.
  • Assist in guiding, training, instructing, and assisting others at peer or lower levels on technical issues and products.
  • Act on Incidents reported by our network management tools.
  • Act on Incidents reported by the customer (via our service desk).
  • Proactively test & upgrade software on various devices.
  • Analyse capacity management reports & propose improvements.
  • Prepare and execute Change requests.
  • Remotely Configure new devices.
  • Interact with multiple teams (Helpdesk, Customer, Service delivery Mgr.).
  • Make technical advisory/designs for customer network migrations.
  • Make technical advisory to improve customer security environment.
  • Communicate & raise incidents to 3rd party (vendors/telecom providers).
  • Create and update documentation sets.
  • Propose improvement plans (technical & human activity).
  • Seek guidance from peers and seniors where required.
  • Present activities to team.
  • Propose improvements for our network management tools / Configuration.
  • Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery Manager.
  • Understand vendor product/solution evolutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of working relevant experience Mandatory.
  • Masters/Graduate degree holder.
  • Design, Deploy & manage data center network using Cisco ACI.
  • Design, configure, and implement Data center infrastructure in large enterprise data center.
  • Hands-on experience in Cisco ACI for design, implementation, deployment & migration.
  • Experience with various components of Cisco's ACI solutions, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller), End Point Groups (EPG), Tenant, Bridge Domain (BD), VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) and Infrastructure Policy.
  • Effective English speaking & writing skills.
  • Hands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organization dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management.
  • Awareness ITIL V3 framework.
  • Documentation (MS Word) & drawing (MS Visio ) updates.
  • Participating in Team and customer meetings.
  • Effective English speaking & writing skills.

Salary Range

">

The estimated salary for this position is approximately €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
