Job Title: Senior Manager

The Role:

  • Supports the airline's bilateral requirements and regulatory needs.
  • Monitors emerging international and domestic air transport policies, analyzing competitors' and alliances' activities.
  • Keeps management informed about the impact of international policies and activities on the airline's commercial objectives.
  • Collaborates with Network Planning to gather data on Origin and Destination, Supply and Demand, Code share Traffic, and recommends a timeline plan to enhance traffic rights entitlements through regular reports.
  • Conducts long-term analysis of economic, political, social, and airline industry trends relevant to an airline based in India, ensuring the airline's assets, designation, traffic rights, frequencies, and routing rights are safeguarded.
  • Supports efforts to obtain aeropolitical and regulatory approvals from governments for traffic rights and other regulatory approvals, contributing to code share relationships development and management.
  • Maintains productive relationships with civil aviation authorities to secure maximum commercial and aeropolitical benefits.
  • Supports special projects and key assignments on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Management or Law.
  • At least 7 years of experience working in an airline or airline consulting environment, with a rounded knowledge of the airline industry and operations.
  • Candidate needs to possess good communication and writing skills, with strong negotiation skills.
  • Should be able to demonstrate high-level autonomy while handling assigned projects.
  • Should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to sustain pressure.
  • Regularly evaluates department processes and provides recommendations to the AVP-Aeropolitical & Airline Partnerships.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
