Engineering Director

  • We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our hospitality engineering teams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering policies, leading capital expenditure projects, and setting benchmarks and KPIs for property-level engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and standardize engineering policies across all properties.
  • Lead capital expenditure projects including renovations and new builds.
  • Set benchmarks and KPIs for property-level engineering teams.

Maintenance and Operations

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure optimal functioning of MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with resort teams to resolve issues swiftly.

Energy and Sustainability

  • Drive energy conservation initiatives.
  • Implement sustainable practices aligned with global hospitality standards.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all properties.
  • Conduct audits and mitigate risks proactively.

Team Development and Management

  • Recruit, train, and mentor engineering teams.
  • Promote a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement.

Budgeting and Financial Management

  • Manage annual engineering budgets.
  • Approve expenditures for maintenance and capital projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering is required.
  • Advanced certifications in facility or energy management are preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in hospitality engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
