Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production and management of geospatial data across various projects. Your tasks will include digitization, geocoding, and conducting surveys when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage GIS data, including digitization and geocoding processes.
  • Cultivate spatial data to ensure accuracy and integrity across projects.
  • Integrate GIS solutions with existing systems and customize applications to meet specific client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive GIS solutions.
  • Meet project SLAs by producing quality work within specified timelines.
  • Produce precise and accurate geospatial data.
  • Conduct field surveys as required to collect accurate geospatial information.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of GIS concepts and software tools.
  • Expertise in GIS tools such as ArcGIS / QGIS / MapInfo / GeoServer / AutoCAD.
  • Ability to adapt to various project requirements.
  • Data entry and data mining skills.
  • Experience in using CAD tools.
  • Familiarity with online software like Google drive and Google sheets.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in GIS application development and implementation.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certifications in GIS technologies are advantageous.
