Senior Backend Engineer Role

We are seeking a seasoned technology professional to fill the position of Senior Backend Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and NoSQL services that power device and platform ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful API and NoSQL services that power our device and platform ecosystem.
  • Closely collaborate with Technical Leads, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and software and hardware teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and software designs.
  • Make strong architectural decisions focusing on performance, maintainability, and security.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of software development experience with 5+ years building scalable backend services using RESTful API And NoSQL.
  • Strong experience with Java or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Proven track record designing and developing software interacting with or managing hardware devices.
  • Deep understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation principles.
  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, testing, debugging, and CI/CD best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and containerized services.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
