About This Role

This position involves leading Android application development using Mavericks framework for efficient state management.

  • Responsibilities:

• Develop and architect Android applications efficiently utilizing Airbnb's Mavericks framework.

• Ensure smooth and scalable UI interactions by managing complex states with Mavericks and adopting best practices for reactive programming.

• Manage the entire lifecycle of Android applications from conceptualization to deployment and post-launch support.

• Implement modular architectures (e.g., MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) for maintaining and evolving codebases efficiently.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring the highest standards of code quality, performance, and security.

• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices in Android development.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive development and high-quality user experiences.

• Optimize applications for performance, battery efficiency, and smooth user experiences on various Android devices.

• Implement comprehensive testing strategies and resolve issues related to app stability and performance.

• Oversee the app submission process to Google Play Store, ensuring timely updates and compliance with requirements.

Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin, and Java with 9+ years of experience.
  • In-depth experience with Mavericks (Airbnb's state management framework) and integrating it into complex Android applications.
  • Experience with architecture patterns like MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture and understanding of Android Architecture Components.
  • Proficiency in working with Coroutines, RxJava, or other asynchronous programming paradigms.
  • Familiarity with Jetpack libraries such as Navigation, Paging, Room, and WorkManager.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and unit/UI testing frameworks.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Android applications in the Google Play Store and expertise in debugging tools.
Salary Range: ₹15,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum
