Job Summary:

Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong software development skills, experience in software engineering life cycles, and expertise in networking technology areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test software applications for mesh and RDK technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 9 years of experience in software engineering or related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python
  • Experience working with Linux operating systems and real-time embedded systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working with cross-geo teams in the US and worldwide
  • Good understanding of software architectures in networking, WLAN, and data path functions
