Data Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in designing and executing large-scale distributed data systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in big data technologies, including Apache Hadoop, relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.

They will also possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as hands-on knowledge of working with data frames, data sets, RDDs, Spark SQL/PySpark/Scala APIs, and performance optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing large-scale distributed data systems
  • Maintaining high-performance data systems
  • Developing reusable components and data tools
  • Integrating data across multiple sources
  • Providing expert-level support for complex data-related issues

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in big data technologies and relational databases
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala)
  • Expertise in SQL (T-SQL, PL-SQL, SPARK-SQL, HIVE-QL)
  • Familiarity with Apache Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL storage
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
