Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Vlaunchu. As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, you will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using SIEM tools to ensure prompt and effective response.
* Perform real-time threat analysis and proactively address potential security risks to maintain the integrity of our systems.
* Conduct thorough investigations and provide incident response for security breaches, malware attacks, and suspicious activity.
* Utilize a variety of security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint protection.
* Collaborate with the IT and security teams to improve our overall security posture and identify areas for enhancement.
* Identify and assess potential vulnerabilities, taking preventive measures to mitigate risks and maintain a secure environment.
* Document and report incidents, creating a log of events and actions taken to ensure transparency and accountability.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology developments to ensure our systems remain secure.
* Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Requirements:

* 6 years of overall IT experience with 3 years specifically in Information Security.
* Strong experience in threat detection, security monitoring, and incident response.
* Proficiency in working with SIEM tools and other security monitoring systems.
* Knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
* Hands-on experience with incident management, threat hunting, and forensics.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
* Familiarity with security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
* Ability to work from the Bangalore office.

Preferred Skills:

* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant security certifications.
* Experience in cloud security and endpoint security.
* Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for security operations (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
