Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems using Java and Spring Boot. They will also be working closely with development managers, product owners, SMEs, and other stakeholders to understand software feature and product visions.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development roles using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ORM, JDBC, as well as front-end development using Angular. They should also have experience working on large-scale, client-facing, enterprise production software and recent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale software systems using Java and Spring Boot
  • Partner closely with development managers, product owners, SMEs, and other stakeholders to fully understand software feature and product visions
  • Estimate development effort and participate in planning activities
  • Suggest technical alternatives and designs where applicable
  • Analyze requirements and translate into product/feature design
  • Maintain and optimize existing code

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development roles using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, ORM, JDBC
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in front-end development using Angular
  • 3+ years of experience working on large-scale, client-facing, enterprise production software
  • Recent experience leading or working on products from architectural design to production
  • Experience working in an Agile environment where production code is delivered bi-monthly
