Financial Operations Assistant

The Financial Operations Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial accuracy of our operations by ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

  • Prepare and Issue invoices to customers, meeting invoice delivery timelines and ensuring all supporting documents and backups are in place.
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing websites and submit them by electronic data interchange, understanding key areas on invoicing specific to each customer.
  • Check each field on the invoices before submission, maintaining invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference.
  • Work closely with payroll & invoicing teams to accelerate the invoice submission process, sending out statement of accounts to customers and reconciling self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets.
  • Handle invoice rejections and credit and rebills, maintaining SOP/standard guides for complete invoicing processes account-wise and updating them timely.
  • Provide continuous support for the improvement of platforms for invoicing and assist Credit control in invoicing and collection of payment.

As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and issuing invoices, and ensuring timely and precise invoicing. You will also work closely with the payroll and invoicing teams to accelerate the invoice submission process.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team.
