Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to development and deployment.
  • Implement test-driven development practices, including comprehensive unit tests, for high-quality code.
  • Develop reusable, modular code and libraries for efficiency and consistency.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all systems and processes.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Python programming foundation, including debugging and performance analysis.
  • Experience in developing web applications and APIs, and knowledge of frameworks like Django or Flask.
  • Considerable expertise in secure software development and handling sensitive data.
  • Well-established experience in all phases of development – requirement gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of source code repository management using Git.
  • Hands-on experience in DB design & Architecture with a focus on performance.
  • Knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache or Redis.
  • Experience working with Apache, Nginx, or other web/app servers.
  • Experience in containerization using Docker.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise-level deployment and scaling.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in writing reusable code and libraries to improve efficiency and consistency across multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Angular, Node JS.
  • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JS, Bootstrap, Ajax.
